You're Blushing!!!!!!!!

Looking for the perfect way to spruce up your beautiful face??? Try blush!!! Blush is the perfect way to create a winter glow!!!!! I love peaches and pinks and bronzers work wonders!!! If you aren't sure what hue is right for you, here are a few that you can't go wrong with. In fact, the November issue of InStyle magazine did a feature on shades of blush for dark skin. They actually recommended two shades that I personally use. First up is Nars in Exhibit A http://www.narscosmetics.com/ or http://www.sephora.com/ ! It packs a punch! This bright orange shade is sure to turn up the heat, but you can control the degree depending on how you decide to apply. I recommend MAC's blush brush #129 for $34.

If you are looking for something a little more subtle, try MAC's Format(bronzey peach), Gingerly(peachy-pink), or Peaches(light orange-my Fav)! All of these colors blend very well with all skin tones and are affordable at $17.50. You can find MAC just about anywhere these days and I strongly suggest trying them on at home to get a better idea of how they look. I always find the lighting in Nordstrom or department store counters give an inaccurate portrait of make-up color. Bloomingdale's also carries both MAC and Nars!!!

Frank lands in the States!!!!!!!!!!

The extraordinary, powerhouse, wild-child, bee-hive wearing, soul-stirring, Amy Winehouse has arrived State-side! The talented Brit's first album "Frank" has made its way to the US of A and if you enjoyed or are still enjoying "Back to Black" you most definitely want to check out "Frank"!!!! My fav's include: F*&k Me Pumps(oh its the bomb!!!), Stronger than me(jazzy, neo-soul), I Heard Love is Blind(absolutely beautiful), Moody's Mood for love(classic remake, and she works it!), and my all time favorite on this album(can you tell I really like it?), Brother(this one is the best!!!!). The whole album rocks from start to fin! But I will let you be the critic!!!

Perfect for a day at the office, school, or night out on the town! Ice Ice Baby!!!!!!!!

Tis the season to get your skate on, ice skating that is!!!! One of my favorite things to do that I rarely get out and do is back in effect and I promise I will be gearing up and getting my Debi Thomas on...Remember her?

The National Gallery Sculpture Garden is well known for it's outdoor skating rink, which offers seasonal music along with a cup of refreshing hot cocoa!!!!! http://www.nga.gov/ginfo/skating.htm#admission

Well it is official...Winter is on the rise. And one needs to be prepared to battle the cold! So, why not have the right accessories?
