Fall has arrived at Anthro!!! Anthropologie in Chevy Chase, DC hosted a fall fashion show, highlighting some of their eclectic hits for Fall 2011! Lush colors, beautiful booties, and lots of cozy knits! And did I mention how cute the hair adornments were? They were really funky and creative! I am so in love with Fall! It truly is a magical time of the year-for more reasons than one, for me!! Enjoy some of the out takes from the event! Anthro really knows how to host a classy affair! They had it all covered and I'm so glad I was able to attend!!! Here ya go....

Small. Round. Yummy!!!! Words that come to mind when I think of the decadent bite of a cupcake I devoured this Mother's Day! Frosting...A cupcakery or boutique of desserts, I call it, opened in Chevy Chase, Md. recently!!! The little slice of heaven comes with a great love story that is sure to tug at your heart-strings! The bakery boutique is quaint and charming and offers great picks like "nilla-nilla" and "reDelicious"! My fav...Nilla-Nilla!! The icing is the best part-thick and sweet, just like I like it!!! It's definitely worth your time and Love!

These tiny desserts definitely come with a lot of love!!!! And you will see the love first hand!!!

Ok ladies of the DC Metro area its finally here...My prayers were answered and maybe some of yours were too...Anthropologie arrives to the shops at Chevy Chase this Thursday! Yes! That's right! I learned first hand that when you ask, it will come! Chevy Chase, Maryland has become a prime time spot for shopping. With the recently opened Bloomingdale's and the high end boutiques of Chevy Chase row, Anthro is certainly a welcomed addition for those with high and low budgets and from what I can tell, the store is amazing!!! With the loss of the Rockville store, which housed major sales, we gain the brand new store at the Shops of Friendship Heights. Right on the DC/MD line, everything you need is right here and metro accessible! What a delight!!! The grand opening takes place this Thursday, January 14th! Can you see me smiling!!! Im overjoyed with this new arrival!!!! Hopefully, you will be too!!

Gucci Sale!!!!!!!!!!

It's that time of the year again!!!! The Spring/Summer Sale at Gucci starts Monday, June 2nd. The presale is on now. Go in and pick out your favorite bag or accessory, pay, and pick up on the 2nd!!!! Fabulous!!!!!

Chevy Chic Eats!!!!!!!!

Looking for a cute little spot to catch up with the girls? A pit-stop between shopping the chic boutiques of Chevy Chase? Look no further than M Cafe' and Bar. A swank , trendy, cozy cafe' tucked away in the corridor of the Collection at Chevy Chase. Not only will you find this yummy little eatery, but high-end retail and restaurants too. The food is tasty. The service is great(ask for Elvis) and the atmosphere is quaint and relaxed! Oh and did I mention parking is available and they validate!!!!! That's what I call fabulous!!!! Dine indoors or take it al fresca when the weather warms! Enjoy, catch up, shop, dine!!! Do it all at the Cafe'!!!!!

Prepare for Arrival!!!!!!!!!!!

So tonight I attended the "soft" opening of the brand new Bloomingdale's of Chevy Chase!!!! Chevy Chase is definitely putting itself on the map and Bloomies is just the perfect addition to compliment the ever so Chevy Chic collection!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The store is absolutely amaaaaaaaaazing!!!!! It truly has everything you could ever possibly need from clothing to home goods! They've got it!!! And the staff was ever so helpful and friendly, considering this was not the "softest" opening I've ever seen. It was sensory overload to say the least, but the Bloomies' team had it under control and made it a pleasant shopping experience!!!!!!!!!

The grand opening is tomorrow, September 27! So, if you are in the mood for a large crowd, head on over. I myself will be venturing back after the rush dies down a wee bit!!!!
