She's Got Leg-Ins!!!!!!!!!!!

Once again, denim has been revamped! For all the ladies who aren't quite sure how to rock the skinny jeans, try on the denim legging! Much easier to find a fit, so that makes them much easier to wear; not to mention the denim legging is much more affordable, in some cases! Here are two ways to showcase those Legs! One, try a true denim legging, like these from one of my favorite denim brands, Joe's. This legging features a dark rinse and ankle zips, which really gives off the appearance of a skinny jean, but much more flattering without back or side pockets and it retails for $78 bucks! How do you say steal? Try them on with a cut bootie and oversized sweater and you are ready to strut your stuff! For another play on the leggy legging, try a faux denim legging, by Daddy Long Legs Leggings, available for $38 at Bloomindale's! These are another fav! I love pairing mine with a slouchy tee, blazer, and OTK boot and KaPow, I'm ready for lunch with the ladies!!! Comfy and affordable! Two things that Im all about for the new year!!! Aren't you???? High Expectations...Over the Knee Boots!

Fall fashion is in full-effect!!! What's hot now in footwear...Over the top. Over the Knee Boots!!! Not mid knee, but sky thigh! Knee boots are one of the most coveted trends for Fall09! What I'm digging are the knee high, flat boot! Try it in suede or distressed leather! Pair your boot with a peasant style, bohemian, frock, tailored shorts, or when all else fails, throw them on with your skinny or straight legged jean! You are sure to come out on top! Bloomies and Nordstrom currently carry some of the hottest looks in OTKB(not to be confused with NKOTB) both of which are making a comeback for fall! Try on styles from Dolce Vita to Marc by Marc Jacobs! From high end to low, you are sure to find a pair that works with your budget!

Shifting Gears!!!

As we prepare to shift into a new season, why not update your closet with a classic shift dress? Shift dresses are a working woman's staple! Shifts offer flattering shapes to most any figure! SJP really jazzed up the shift dress(Sex and the City) with a funky, wide belt and chunky accessories and paired with the seasons hottest shoe: the bootie, you are sure to shift heads in your direction! Not to mention, the shift dress is the perfect go to item for an interview, first day on the job, or even for the First Lady to Be!!!!! Check out the ever so classic and chic Michelle Obama in her hot purple shift dress. Classic shift dresses hit just above the knee and should be paired with an opaque tight or a bare leg. Customer Service is not Dead!!!!!!!!!!!!!

'Tis the season for crazy, erratic, behavior. Whether it be the aggressive driver taking your parking spot or the intensely, long line, while waiting to purchase that one pair of gloves!!! Regardless of the situation, the last thing you need is a rude salesperson to be the icing on your already miserable cake!!!!

No fear...I have found the saving grace! Customer Service at it's best!!!! This is the time of the year where people can lose all sense of kindness(the irony in it being the giving season and all), but low and behold, Bloomingdale's!!!! They have shed a whole new light on the meaning of "Great Customer Service" for me.

Did you know that they will match the price of an item that they carry???? All you have to do is bring in a copy of the match price and its a go!!!! Case and point. I recently purchased an item, by an unfamiliar designer for a little over a $100 bucks. Went home, curious about the designer, and came to find the same item on http://www.endless.com/ (get familiar) for $65 bucks!!!!!!!! Whoa!!!! My antenna went up and I said, " I'm taking these back, asappy!!!!" But, I didn't want to brave the cold and outside just yet, so I called, spoke to the very friendly salesperson I had worked with, and he explained the procedure to me and all I would have to do is bring my receipt and the website printout!!! Jackpot!!!! I was like, "Hell Yeah", I can certainly do that!!!!

So, the lesson here...Dynamic Customer Service is alive and thriving during this season of chaos and not so friendly behavior!!!! And it's always great to know that the customer is still #1!!!!!!!

Some other great leaders of Customer Service would include, Nordstrom(they return most anything, without question), Anthropologie(they have a new system of tracking your purchases, so you don't even have to save all those darn receipts) and of course the GAP( gotta love price adjustments within 2 weeks)!!!!
