My New Pep-Stripe-It's Back!!!

There's something about me and stripes as of late! I don't know if I'm feeling ever so nautical or just craving horizontal lines??? Whatever the case, my prayers have been answered because, Stripes are Everywhere! From thin to thick. Basic to multi-colors! Anything I can imagine from a frock to a tee! If it's a stripe I need, a stripe I shall have!!! Love it! Aren't sure stripes are what works for you? I get it, sometimes vertical lines work better for some, but you can't go wrong with a basic striped tee!! Go ahead and set sail and work those stripes!!!!!!!!!

The World "Accordion" To Pleats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pleats Galore!!!

Skirts have really been on my radar for the upcoming season and I apparently am not alone! The next hot thing in skirt wear are Accordion Pleats! These little numbers have quite a vintage appeal and if you love the look, but don't want to spend the bucks, check out one of your local vintage/thrift shops, like this one, which was an all time fave of mine while in undergrad, with little spending money! It kept me very fashion forward and you are sure to find a pleated skirt in one! Not really into vintage wears, but still want test out the look? Try Shopbop or Zara! They both have great takes on this classic look! Ladylike, classic, and comfort all rolled up in one pleat! I'll indulge...Well, maybe after baby!

  Geisha Girl Inspiration

I'm totally inspired by the Geisha Girl look for this summer!!! Bright colors, cherry blossom prints, wraps, kimono sleeves and all things in between-perfect for the comfy-chic girl in us all!! Flowy dresses, just perfect for hiding those unsightly, bumps(that I know we are all working on, in preparation for Summers arrival). In the meantime, me especially, I'm all about drapey, waistline forgiving looks for the next 4 months, so the Geisha look is right up my expanding waistline, alley!!! Here are some looks to try from ASOS and Zara, two great retail sites for spot on trends, at some what affordable pricing!
