Spotlight On: Madison Harding Shoes!!!!!!

Bio pic
The Founders

Wooden heels, wedges, platforms, oh my!!!! If those are all words that describe your perfect summer shoe then Madison Harding is the where it's at!!!! Hilary Rosenman and Barri Budin, the master minds behind the 70's style, vintage inspired soles, worked their creative juices to formulate the perfect shoe: fashion forward and comfortable: comfy chic(there's that phrase again, truly words to live by). Launched in 2007, the line is a mix of the big city and all its greatness at your feet! They are certainly worth trying!  I tried my first pair on at Anthropologie this weekend, and they are definitely on my wishlist!!! Try them for yourself and fall in shoe love!!!!

The Second Time Around!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Target Go-Collection Relaunch

March madness is in full effect! Beginning March 13th, Target will relaunch some of their greatest(dress) hits from the ever so popular Go International Designer Collection!!! Target really has to be commended for being one of the first to collaborate with high-end designers and design cost friendly collections! Some were hits in my book (Tucker, Tracey Feith, Jovovich-Hawk) others, I could have done without (Zac Posen, Paul & Joe) and still others I would die to see (Tracey Reese, Elizabeth and James, Marc Jacobs)...Wishful thinking, I know. But hey, stranger things have happened! In the meantime, get set for the re-release of the following designers and some of their collection highlights: Luella Bartley, Tara Jarmon, Paul & Joe, Behnaz Sarafpour, Proenza Schouler, Libertine, Alice Temperley, Erin Fetherston, Jovovich-Hawk, Rogan, Richard Chai, Jonathan Saunders, Thakoon, Tracy Feith, Rodarte, Zac Posen, and Tucker. For more info go here.  I can't wait to see what looks will make it for the Second Time Around!!!! Act fast, the promotion ends April 10th and all dresses are under $50 bucks!!!! Steal!!!

Still Bill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today is a special day because it marks a major milestone for the woman who inspired this blog...My mommy! My mommy turns the big 6-5 today  and is going strong, with a few aches, here and there! In celebration of her special day, I thought I would share one of her favorite loves (and mine too) Music! With that said, I recently watched a wonderful documentary about the legendary soul singer, Bill Withers. Mr. Withers hails from a small coal-mining town in West Virginia, where he faced many obstacles, but made his way out via the army and somehow stumbled upon the world of singing and what a voice and message he had. Hits like Lovely Day, Lean on Me and Grandma's Hands are still played and sampled today and remain timeless. If you have an opportunity to see this film, I highly recommend it! For more info go here! I watched via instant Netflix, but you may be able to find on You Tube or Itunes!!! I know you will enjoy and be moved!

Happy Birthday, Mommy!!! Wishing you many more to come!!!

Live Long and Love!!!!!!!!!!!
