Sweater Envy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Preppy, purposeful, popular...All words that come to mind when I think of the perfect fall wardrobe staple...The Cardigan Sweater!!! I was totally inspired after checking out looks "We're Loving" in the August issue of InStyle! Beyonce is totally rocking an all white look, paired with a gray and black Missoni cardigan(pg. 67)! The boyfriend look continues for fall with preppy, long, lengthy, Cardigans! This men's wear inspired trend is a perfect accent to a summer sleeveless dress or blouse, as the weather begins to take a shift(although, we have had a pretty mild summer, hard to imagine fall coming so soon). Pair your perfect cardigan with a blazer(continues to be big for fall 09) for a layered look or punch up a blousey, tee for another look! Go for a solid look or striped; belted or buttoned. So many options to be had with one of my favorite fall additions!

Make My Leggings Leather!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So the 80's just wont die and that's just fine by me!!!! Leggings, an 80's staple, are a must have for any fashion diva!!! They are great worn along(shape permitting) and of course as a layered item!!! And if you want a more polished look for a night on the town...Try textured, leather leggings or for a more cost effective look, go for the latex leggings, they give the same look as the leather at a much cheaper cost!!! Leather or leather like leggings look great paired with the hottest shoe for fall...The Bootie(by Giuseppe Zanotti) or with your favorite pair of stilettos(Michael Kors) or platforms. Or just be cozy and go for a simple flat, which have also gotten a makeover for fall!!! Try looks from Kova & T, The Row featured at Barney's, and of course the number one layering retailer...American Apparel!!!!!

And dont forget your gloves!!!!! Ladies, every woman is in need of a pair of opera length, ladylike gloves (thanks J.P)! My friend has shown me how truly fabulous this look can be and so easy to pull off, especially with the trend of coats and sweaters being cropped sleeves. We gotta keep those arms warm!!!! And why not be ladylike and elegant while doing so? I have been on the hunt for the perfect pair and have had much success with my old faithful, Ebay!!! I searched for vintage leather opera gloves and bingo, Jackpot!!!! And great prices too!!!!
