Happy Friday!!! A few things had me quite excited this week! Celebrating my youngest son's 1st Bee-day(It's a Bumble Bee theme, cuz he is Bee-Sy). One of my besties coming to town to celebrate her Godson's big day and hang out with the girls! And, filling my wishlist with a few great things featured in Anthro's September catalog! Style Inspiration!!!!!!!!!

For this month's style inspiration, I'm channeling men's wear! I have been eyeing lots of skinny jeans with blazers and oversized sweaters, so I'm thinking of some cool, comfy, chic ways to put these pieces together without looking to over done! Here's what I came up with...Try pairing JBrands Antique Twill(so comfy and soft) with an oversized cardigan(both featured here can be found at Anthro and JCrew and on Sale), with a pair of patent oxfords by Madewell! This look screams men's wear, but with a hint of femininity! I always love pairing generous tops with well fitting bottoms. It's a most flattering look for almost any figure! It's getting chilly out there, and if you're like me, not quite ready to throw on a winter coat, try an oversized sweater!

Preppy, purposeful, popular...All words that come to mind when I think of the perfect fall wardrobe staple...The Cardigan Sweater!!! I was totally inspired after checking out looks "We're Loving" in the August issue of InStyle! Beyonce is totally rocking an all white look, paired with a gray and black Missoni cardigan(pg. 67)! The boyfriend look continues for fall with preppy, long, lengthy, Cardigans! This men's wear inspired trend is a perfect accent to a summer sleeveless dress or blouse, as the weather begins to take a shift(although, we have had a pretty mild summer, hard to imagine fall coming so soon). Pair your perfect cardigan with a blazer(continues to be big for fall 09) for a layered look or punch up a blousey, tee for another look! Go for a solid look or striped; belted or buttoned. So many options to be had with one of my favorite fall additions!
