Mother's Day is this Sunday and what better way to celebrate than my honoring some fab mom's and mom's to be that I know, myself included(had to plug this MOT). Mothers really deserve all the praise! Dear Tom aka Blake Mycoskie(founder),
I must admit, I truly was not a fan, initially of your ever so popular, karate shoe inspired, charitable contribution of a shoe, better known as the Tom-Classic Flat! I would often spy them on hippie, granola types and think to self-those are some saaad looking shoes, until I was in Nordstrom one day and decided, hmmm...let me see what these shoes are really talking about! Well, that was last summer and boy did I have a change of heart once I stepped foot into these little dandies!! Talk about comfy-chic!!! Comfort, being the most important thing on my list these days, I just couldnt resist the Tom, especially  this sparkly little number! More and more I started to see them on the trendiest of hipsters and thought hey, Im totally on the late bus and now that I've hopped on, there's no turning back!!! I now own two pair, red and gold, and am eyeing the black glitters, which will be perfect for my trip home from vacay and baby #2 delivery(yes, Im already planning my outfit home). I just scored this camoflaged pair for my little tyke, who, like his momma, already loves him some shoes! The husband is not so convinced, but I he did tell me he went looking on the website, "just browsing", he said, but they didnt have his size(note to Blake, you may want to consider going up to a size 16 for men-there are lots of tall fellas out there, who love a little fashion and comfort). All in all, I have been very pleased with my Toms( clearly Im a fan here, here, and here) and I must say the lesson learned...Never say Never, because one never knows what will end up on your feet!!!

Either way, you are sure to be saying something and have a nice little reminder of me, at your feet!!!!

One Hot Pant!!!!!

Forever 21 y'all!!!! Cheap prices and all the latest trends...You cant beat it! Case and point...A co-worker of mine (hey Lauren) was in the market for a pair of Harem Pants and was curious as to whether they were still a "hot commodity." I quickly informed her, "Yes" especially having just returned from one of the fashion epicenters of the world: Paris and yes, they were just about everywhere...Very Parisian Chic! So, with that in mind, my quest to find the perfect pair for Lauren to experiment with began! First stop...Forever21! In addition, I found these and these and just discovered these(at a great price I might add). All of which were a good starting point, but the price point of the F21's for someone who is still on the fence about the "hammer--I mean Harem" pant, were a much better deal and ohhh so cute! Mini's are just about everywhere this season! From shorty shorts(can you say Daisy Dukes?) to mini skirts!!! One might want to have a great pair of legs to work this look to perfection, but if not, fear not, you can still pull it off and remain in style! So, you may not have gym perfected thighs, I mean really, who does? That doesn't mean you are confined to knee covering shorts, nor does it mean that the only shorts you sport are around the house, while cleaning up on the weekends!! Attention to details is what one thinks when they see what's hot and new in Spring footwear! Stud detailing is showing up on just about everything, just below the ankle! From booties to towering pumps and everything in between(I'm all about the in between, personally). My favorites come from the likes of DolceVita. They definitely have made their mark on this trend! Check out Neve, my favorite. Great details, with studs and zipper, flat, comfy...What more could one ask for in a shoe!! This shoe just might be my spring/summer staple!! It will go perfect with harem pants(sure to be making another appearance for spring and summer), boyfriend jeans, or high-waisted skirt! The looks are unlimited! What I'm digging are the knee high, flat boot! Try it in suede or distressed leather!
