Fun In Fleece!!!!!!!!

I know. I know. Fleece equals 7th grade gym class: plain sweatpants and your school's logo tee! Well, with all the snow we have had on the East Coast, I can't help but think of all things fluffy and white. Not to mention, staying warm and cozy! Fleece Dressing bridges the two together quite nicely! As I have mentioned, I am all about comfort dressing these days(having a 16 month old an all), but still fashionable!!! The two definitely go hand in hand, in my world! With that said, let's check out some great Fleece looks...First up, at the Gap, is this great fleece blazer! It packs comfort, quality, and chic-ness, for under $60 bucks! Next up, another great fleece find from Intermix: Metallic Fleece Motorcycle Jacket, chic and oh so fashion forward! Ooh, I'm also loving this oversized fleece, jeweled sweatshirt by Gryphon; it will look great with leggings and booties! Lastly, and my favorite take on the traditional "jogging suit"...the fleece jumpsuit by Juicy Couture! Comfy and Cute!!!! This so isn't your 7th grade gym class! It's Fun in Fleece!!! If only, gym class could be so fabulous!!!

I Am Woman, Hear Me Roar!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm Power! I'm Love. Two inspiring phrases, captured on one fabulous tee. Mary J. Blige and Catherine Malandrino are collaborating and creating a charity tee to support Mary's Foundation For the Achievement of Women Now (FFAWN). Read more here. The organization is great and the tee is a fabulous way to give back! Y'all know I love my tees!!! I've already signed up for mine in black!!! You can get yours starting today at Bloomingdale's and Catherine Malandrino Boutiques! I love this tee and I will be feeling way empowered when wearing it!!! Support a good cause!!!

My New Favorite Store!!!!!!!

I've got a new favorite ladies and gents!! While on mini-vacay in South Beach, Miami, I stumbled upon something GREaT while strolling along the famed, Lincoln Road! Known for it's quaint restaurants, vintage shopping, and awesome people watching, Lincoln Road is where you want to be when in Miami! On to my latest discovery...Well, discreetly tucked away, in what appeared to be an old chapel of sorts was the hottest shop, this side of the globe. May I introduce All Saints Spitalfield clothing!!! This store originates from London and packs a fantab assortment of abstract tees, fun, easy to wear knit dresses, shoes, and great accessories for both chicks and blokes! With a hint of goth, the store itself presents with a rustic, exposed brick, warehouse. Filled with a window display of old-fashioned Singer sewing machines, the color palate is kept to a minimum, which makes it that much easier to fit into the wardrobe! I'm in love with everything this store has to offer and even though I'm not so fortunate to have a store in my area(L.A. NYC, and Boston are in luck), they are available online and they have a ton of sale items too!!! Gotta love a sale! Check them out! Halle loves them and so do I!!! Hopefully, DC will be next up for an outpost!!! Wishful thinking...

Cut-It-Out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's next in eighties and nineties revivals?? Cut Out dresses! Cut Out dresses are making their way to a local retailer near you for Spring and Summer! Showing Some Skin could have been a great title for this blog, because that's what comes to mind when thinking about these hot little numbers! Halle Berry made this trend look hotter than hot, when presenting at this year's Golden Globes! She's so fabulous and her Kaufman Franco dress was more than fabulously-sexy!!! Go Halle! Taylor Swift rocked this trend quite well at the Grammy's in another K.F. dress...I'm thinking they are doing this trend quite well? Not really ready to spend Grammy money? Well, there are a few, more affordable designers, who have put a Cut Out in their collections: Try this look from Rachel Pally. Perfect for a Valentine's dinner outting with your special someone! Pair with a hot leather jacket from Anthro(on sale), opaque tights(it's 6 more weeks of winter) and a hot pair of wedges(loving these by Dolce Vita) and you're ready to Cut-Out, on the town!!!

Hot Taupe-ic!!!!!!!!!!!!

Particuliere, Over-the-Taupe, Toast...all names that you should get familiar with or at least introduce them to your fingers and toes! Chanel and Opi are just a few of the nail color masters hard at work to bring us ladies what's hot and new in spring nail hues! Keeping with the trend of going au natural, nail polish is following suit! I am loving the Chanel polish, but if you aren't up to spending over $20 bucks, you still have many options: try Nubar's Sandstone for less than $8bucks! Trends come and go, but nail colours can last a lifetime. I think I will forever be wearing Lincoln Park After Dark, for Fall/Winter and now my new fav...Taupes, for Spring/Summer and all things in between!!! Keep it simple and still chic, from Tips to Toes!
