My New Pep-Stripe-It's Back!!!

There's something about me and stripes as of late! I don't know if I'm feeling ever so nautical or just craving horizontal lines??? Whatever the case, my prayers have been answered because, Stripes are Everywhere! From thin to thick. Basic to multi-colors! Anything I can imagine from a frock to a tee! If it's a stripe I need, a stripe I shall have!!! Love it! Aren't sure stripes are what works for you? I get it, sometimes vertical lines work better for some, but you can't go wrong with a basic striped tee!! Go ahead and set sail and work those stripes!!!!!!!!!

Although we are fully in the midst of spring, it still comes with a slight chill! When the weather is sunny, but a little nippy...Opt for a light, Spring Jacket! Fun In Fleece!!!!!!!!

I know. I know. Fleece equals 7th grade gym class: plain sweatpants and your school's logo tee! Well, with all the snow we have had on the East Coast, I can't help but think of all things fluffy and white. Not to mention, staying warm and cozy! Fleece Dressing bridges the two together quite nicely! As I have mentioned, I am all about comfort dressing these days(having a 16 month old an all), but still fashionable!!! The two definitely go hand in hand, in my world! With that said, let's check out some great Fleece looks...First up, at the Gap, is this great fleece blazer! It packs comfort, quality, and chic-ness, for under $60 bucks! Next up, another great fleece find from Intermix: Metallic Fleece Motorcycle Jacket, chic and oh so fashion forward! Ooh, I'm also loving this oversized fleece, jeweled sweatshirt by Gryphon; it will look great with leggings and booties! Lastly, and my favorite take on the traditional "jogging suit"...the fleece jumpsuit by Juicy Couture! Comfy and Cute!!!! This so isn't your 7th grade gym class! It's Fun in Fleece!!! If only, gym class could be so fabulous!!!

Zippity Do Dah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zippers aren't just for jackets these days! They can be found on just about anything from leggings to dresses and most definitely the winter staple...The Leather Jacket!!!! I'm loving the asymmetrical twist on this usually, hidden fastner! Zippers can add an edgy look to an otherwise simple one! Check out the looks featured at intermixonline Lust List! This exposed zipper got its start last fall(see ExpoZip). Zippers on the outside of clothing was all the rage and continues to be quite the trend, with new twists and turns! Im loving the lookse featured at Shopbop and Anthropologie!
