Spring Vacation Recap!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you miss me??? I know I have been MIA for a few days, well a week, but for good reason! My family and I were on a Spring Vacation to my homeland of Los Angeles and then off to Vegas for a Very Special Vegas Wedding, Baby!!! And, my baby made his debut as the ring bearer du jour!!! (And he did a good job, too). Yes, I was in LaLa land and made it to all my favorite eateries, including In an; Out, Fatburger, and Roscoe's and even worked in a new spot, that was quite delish: Paul Martin's in El Segundo( which is truly the new it area in town). If you make it there, be sure and try the Linguine with Prawns...OH MY Lord, it was divine! My hubby and I also managed to work in a trip to the LA Zoo with our fabulous 2 year-old and Santa Monica Pier (I also checked out the new outdoor shopping center too--very nice, worth checking out). Then we were off to Vegas, where we stayed in the bright and attractive City Center at the Aria(rooms were fab, but the vanilla pumping through the lobby/casino drove me nuts, could be the pregnancy, but mostly it was just over the top). If you are all about the high-end retail, then City Center is for you! And if you are getting hitched anytime soon, and you want a Vegas wedding minus all the glitz and lights, you should definitely check out the Springs Preserve(which is where my friend's wedding was held--BEAUTIFUL and unexpected for Vegas). It was an amazing, relaxing, tummy-filling trip! Makes me want to be on Spring Break at least once a month!!!

Another fab vintage shop just recently sprouted in the LA vicinity!!!! All you lucky Cali girls who are all about your vintage finds, this is for you!!! I will be making my way to my homeland at the end of the week for family, friends, FOOD and fun(wedding in Vegas, baby) and it is sure to be a great vacay!!! Unfortunately, the new shop, did I mention it by name yet? No!! Telltale Heartbeat, is only open Wed-Sat, boo-hiss!!! These hours don't work for me and if you are in the same boat you are in luck, because their online shop is looking real good!!! I first learned about the Telltale here.  And I was truly taken in by all the pictures of the featured jewels and gems that were featured and they were ALL available online-Score(but going fast, only downside of buying Vintage)!!!!! Here are a few of my fav's: vintage and new! They even feature one of my new underground label love: Funktional-check out their hot tribal tank dress!!! Got have it! These days who isn't on a budget, right? Well, if you have a few dollars to spare and are looking for some comfortable, footcandy, try on these perfect little clogs!! When I visited Amsterdam last summer I was on the search for the perfect clog and what better place than the land of wooden shoes--I just knew I would be in luck; much to my surprise, no luck. Since then I have been on the hunt for some wooden, noise makers! I love Sweedish Hasbeens and almost scored a very reasonably priced pair here, but talked myself out of them, since I was soon to head to Amsterdam(bad decision). Oh, well, I got over it and then I saw the No.6 clogs and whew, I was in Clog-Heaven!!! Although, I can't truly justify the splurge right now, especially since Im saving for my fold-over clutch, amongst other things, including new baby accessories, oh priorities...Back to the shoes, when the finances allow, I will be getting a pair of these cute little numbers, which will be so perfect with a Maxi dress or skirt, boyfriend jeans, leggings, whatever you fancy!!  In the meantime, one can oogle and share the knowledge!!!
